Welcome to the official site of the Iota Lambda Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity
If you are an incoming freshman or transfer student here at the University of Louisville, the brothers of the Iota Lambda chapter would like to congratulate you on your admission and attendance to one of the fastest-growing universities both in size and academics. The University of Louisville is currently undergoing many exciting changes and we cannot wait for you to become a part of it. To name a few, the Speed Art Museum, Ekstrom Library, the recently-built Student Recreation Center, and the various construction projects along the campus roads and walks are just the beginning.
In addition to these steps forward, UofL is consistently ranked among the top colleges and universities for our excellence in athletics and academics, most notable within the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, College of Business, School of Nursing and College of Arts & Sciences.
Again, congratulations on choosing to attend a university in which we pride ourselves on excellence! Joining the Cardinal family is only the beginning of the potential impact UofL can have on its undergraduate students. At Sigma Chi we to have taken pride in excellence by establishing ourselves as a premier chapter not only here at the University of Louisville, but also at the national level among the 246 Sigma Chi chapters and even the national Greek community as a whole.
Please feel free to contact us anytime with any questions regarding Greek Life. In the mean time, explore our newly updated website, and stay in touch with all the upcoming events and activities that our fraternity has to offer.
If you are visiting the website before Feb. 24, 2017, please help us donate money to our RaiseRED fundraising page. RaiseRED is an 18-hour dance marathon in which 100% of the proceeds go to pediatric oncology research. Last year we raised the most money out of all of the fraternities and we are striving for that goal again. This money will help the efforts in finding a cure for cancer so families and loved ones may survive such a devastating illness. There is no such thing as a donation too small! Thank you!
Here is the link to donate: (please donate to any individual who has not yet reached $100 yet, thanks again!)
